Get the Facts: Workplace Injuries and Illnesses

The leading causes of workplace death and injury are not always the same. While transportation incidents were the leading cause of workplace death in 2024, contact incidents; overexertion, repetitive motion and bodily condition; and slips, trips and falls were the leading causes of nonfatal injuries involving Days Away From Work (DAFW) from 2023-2024.

Included below is information to increase awareness of the greatest injury and illness risks on the job.
